The Ukrainian Institute London has opened applications for a Ukrainian language teacher to teach our Beginners’ and Upper Beginners’ groups in person and/or online.

Role description:
We are looking for an experienced teacher of Ukrainian as a foreign language to teach up to 3 groups (subject to demand) online and in person in London, starting from the week of 22 January 2024 as well as one-to-one online classes of various levels. All groups are at beginners’ level:
online complete Beginners’ on Mondays 6.30-8pm
online Upper Beginners’ on Tuesdays/Thursdays 7-8.30pm
in-person complete Beginners’ on Wednesdays 7pm-8.30pm in Paddington.
The term for group courses will last for 12 weeks. One-to-one online classes take place at various times, depending on students’ availability. Classes are for adults (18+).
We will provide a syllabus of topics and areas of grammar that should be covered. Beyond this broad outline of the syllabus, we encourage teachers to use a mix of their own materials and exercises.
Skills required:
Relevant teaching qualifications;
Experience teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language;
Fluency in the English language (our students are all English speakers).
Fee: £660 termly fee per online group (maximum 8 students) per level (e.g. beginners’/intermediate/advanced); £690 termly per in-person group and £25 per hour for one-to-one classes.
