With 500 days to go until the start of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, an official delegation from Ukraine’s National Olympic Committee visited the Ukrainian Institute London, commencing talks on cooperation and assistance during the Olympics. The meeting was attended by the Ukrainian Ambassador in London, top executives from the Association of Ukrainians in GB, Ukrainian British City Club, Ukrainian Supporters Club, and Ukrainian student groups in the UK.
Initial issues discussed were how the Ukrainian organisations can assist the Olympic team in London, especially with premises for press conferences, events, and receptions.
A separate meeting was also held with the Chair of Ukraine’s Paralympic Committee, Valeriy Sushkevych.
