Terms and Conditions — Upper Beginners’ Ukrainian Intensive Spring Course

      1. Our courses are subject to quorum requirements; the minimum is 3 students, and the maximum is 8 students in the group. If the scheduled class does not reach the quorum number, the course may be cancelled. Ukrainian Language School Manager will inform the applicants, normally 5 days before the start of the course, and advise them as to alternative options.
      2. Places will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If the course is fully booked, we will add your details to a waiting list and notify you if places become available.
      3. The Upper Beginners Ukrainian Intensive Spring Course fees must be paid in full at the time of enrolment, before the course begins.
      4. If a participant informs Ukrainian Institute London ([email protected]), in writing, that they wish to withdraw from the Upper Beginners Ukrainian Intensive Spring Course a week or more before the start of the course, their course fees will be refunded, in accordance with our cancellation policy below.
      5. No partial refund will be given for any classes not attended.
      6. Once a participant has enrolled, it is unlikely that we will be able to accommodate their requests to defer or switch to other courses.
      7. Ukrainian Institute London cannot accept responsibility for any unforeseen changes in a participant’s circumstances that may prevent them from attending the course.
      8. Since many of our teachers are based in Ukraine, facing the unpredictability of air raid alarms due to the ongoing war, classes might be cancelled at short notice. However, teachers will afterwards reschedule classes for the earliest convenient time.
      9. Ukrainian Institute London reserves the right to cancel a course if the number of enrolments fails to reach the minimum number required to run the course. In the event of course cancellation, all fees paid in advance will be refunded in full.
      10. Participants of the Upper Beginners Ukrainian Intensive Spring Course must be over 16 years of age.
      11. The cost of textbooks is not included in the course fees. Participants are not obliged to purchase the textbooks. Photocopies and scans of the learning materials will be provided to the participants.
      12. Lessons will be delivered online via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Whereby. UIL does not take responsibility for individual technical issues not related to UIL.
      13. Online lessons will be recorded for learning purposes. Recordings will be available to the teacher and students enrolled on the course only.
