The Ukrainian Institute London has an unprecedented number of enquiries from students wishing to learn Ukrainian and we are seeking additional Ukrainian language teachers to teach our groups at various levels, including for students with knowledge of other Slavonic languages and tailored beginners groups for UK hosts of displaced Ukrainians.
We are looking for experienced teachers of Ukrainian as a foreign language to teach weekly classes online or in person in London. We aim for classes to begin as soon as possible (ideally from early May). The term will last for 12 weeks. Our classes usually take place on weekday evenings 6-8pm (with a 10-minute break in the middle of the 2-hour sessions).
In-person classes will take place in Holland Park or in another central London location. Classes are for adults (18+).
We will provide a syllabus of topics and areas of grammar that should be covered. Beyond this broad outline of the syllabus, we encourage teachers to use a mix of their own materials and exercises from UCU’s Yabluko textbooks (although using Yabluko materials is not obligatory).
