Become a Friend of the Institute!

The Ukrainian Institute London is 100% funded by donations, ticket sales and project funding. We rely fully on those who appreciate our work to help us keep going.

By becoming a Friend of the Institute, not only do you support our cultural programming, you also ensure our independence. Our board of trustees monitors all donations of £1,000 or more to ensure legality and transparency in our fundraising, and to guarantee the Institute’s independence, reputation and integrity.

Your regular support enables us to plan for the future so we can deliver our projects to broaden knowledge about Ukraine across the UK and beyond.

The Ukrainian Institute London’s Friends and Benefactors scheme welcomes individuals and entities which are in agreement with the Institute’s mission, principles and strategic goals as defined by the Ukrainian Institute London and its Board of Trustees. Friends and Benefactors are encouraged to support the Institute’s programme by financial sponsorship on a charitable basis.

The Ukrainian Institute London is not able to cooperate with the following entities and individuals:

– those on international sanctions lists, sanctions lists of Ukraine and Ukraine’s strategic partners,

The Russian invasion of Ukraine is not just a tragedy for Ukraine, but a catastrophe for all mankind. In becoming a benefactor of the Ukrainian Institute, I hope that I can make some small contribution to preserving Ukraine’s cultural and artistic heritage during this time of desperate need.

James Walker,
Benefactor of the
Ukrainian Institute London

“From my home in Poland over the past years, I have seen many dear friends suffer under the tragic weight of what Russia has unleashed upon Ukraine, and the entire continent. Russia has destroyed cities, people, and landscapes, but they can never be allowed to destroy Ukrainian culture. In joining the Ukrainian Institute as a benefactor, I seek to do my bit in the all-too-important, but oft forgotten war for Ukraine’s cultural independence, and ultimately- cultural survival.”

Daniel Madison Floyd III,
Benefactor of the
Ukrainian Institute London

“It’s always a real privilege to support the Ukrainian Institute in London. It plays an important role in spreading awareness of Ukraine’s rich cultural heritage as well as clarifying many misconceptions about my country’s past and present. I believe that this, together with the brave fight of Ukrainian people, contributes to building a better world – and not just for Ukrainians. I am in awe of what the Institute is able to achieve with limited resources.”

Benefactor of the
