Ondrej Timco

Ondrej Timco is an MPhil/PhD student at University College London, School of Slavonic and East European studies, where he is researching the amplifying effect of offshore scheming on political corruption – the case study of Pavlo Lazarenko. He has been studying East European studies with a particular focus on Ukraine since 2006 when he started his BA degree at Charles University in Prague. In the academic year of 2008/2009, Ondrej Timco studied as an affiliate student at UCL SSEES, where he became interested in the impact of corruption on political development. Since his MA degree in Politics, Security, and Integration at UCL SSEES, Ondrej Timco has been concentrating on offshore financial services. In 2011, he started MPhil/PhD at UCL SSEES under the joint supervision of Prof. Alena Ledeneva and Dr. Andrew Wilson.
