The Ukrainian Institute London and Global Friends of Ukraine are delighted to invite you to a charity auction and photo exhibition “Donbas: War and Peace”. Selected photos from this remarkable exhibition will be sold at the auction to raise funds for the Victims of War Support Project aimed to assist in the rehabilitation of civilians and soldiers injured during the war in the East of Ukraine. After the charity auction, this photo collection will be exhibited at Ukrainian Club (Holland Park 154, London) from 6-8 March 2015.
The auction will be attended by Ukrainian government officials and members of parliament including Natalia Galibarenko, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Iryna Gerashchenko, MP, Official Representative of the President of Ukraine on the peaceful settlement of the conflict, and other members of Ukraine’s Parliament.
You will also hear from Dr Vsevolod Steblyuk, Adviser to the Minister of Defence of Ukraine who went to the frontline as a volunteer doc
tor and saved the lives of almost a hundred soldiers in the Ilovaisk encirclement. He is managing the rehabilitation program of the Ministry.
